Corrections come first

If a rate, fee or rule on this site is wrong or out of date, that is the most useful email we can receive. Include the page address and what looks incorrect, and a link to the current figure if you have one. Corrections are made to the page and its updated date changes to reflect it.

Questions about a guide

If something in an article is unclear, ask. Questions that come up more than once usually end up answered in the article itself, which makes the page better for everyone.

Press, partnerships and issuers

Media enquiries are welcome. If you represent a bank, issuer or network: we are happy to hear about a product change, a corrected fee or an error in how we have described your terms, and we will act on it quickly. We do not accept sponsored content, paid guest posts, paid links, or payment for placement in a ranking — see the editorial policy. Please do not send those pitches.

What we cannot do

We are not able to help with the following, and an email about them will get a polite but unhelpful reply:

• Personal financial advice. We cannot tell you which card, loan, fund or scheme is right for your situation. Nobody here is a SEBI-registered investment adviser, and giving individual advice is a regulated activity we deliberately stay clear of.
• Disputes with a bank or issuer. We have no relationship that lets us intervene in your application, your account or your complaint. For an unresolved complaint, escalate to the bank's grievance officer and then to the RBI Ombudsman.
• Credit report corrections. Disputes must be raised with the credit bureau that holds the record; our credit score guide explains the process.
• Application status. We are not an intermediary and have no visibility into any application, including one started from a link on this site.

Response times

This is a one-person site, so replies take a few days rather than a few hours. Corrections are prioritised over everything else.
